29th September 2024 - LIMITLESS LODGE SPONSOR SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL 3 DAY EVENT
Limitless Lodge is very excited to be the naming rights sponsor of Sydney International 3 Day Event. It is a wonderful event that we have supported for more than 20 years. Limitless Lodge has always regarded this event as very important for the setting up of future champions. We can’t wait to see you all there in late November.
24th September 2024 - GODOLPHIN FLYING START PROGRAM SPENT AN AFTERNOON WITH TIM
It was great to host the Godolphin Flying Start Program yesterday. They are a serious bunch of industry stars in the making. They are knowledgeable and interested in everything. Wishing them well in their future endeavours.

Hugh Bowman rode Perfect General, the son of Zoustar, expertly to hold off the fire breathing Zac. What a finish and what an exciting start to the season.
18th September 2024 - GETTING THE TEAM TOGETHER FOR HKJC INTERNATIONAL SALE 2025
Each year Limitless Lodge is the appointed consigner for the Hong Kong Jockey Club International Sale and has been for many years. We take a big team to Hong Kong and have met some wonderful staff over the years who have gone on to all kinds of success in the racing world.
We require top level staff to care for the horses for the whole duration of the above dates and that can all ride timed gallops under pressure.
Pre export quarantine starts in Australia at the start January 2025 and the commitment will be until the sale in Hong Kong on Friday 7th March 2025.

17th September 2024 - SPARKY LAD FINALLY BACK EVENTING IN ENGLAND
After a very interrupted campaign, Sparky is finally back in action doing what he loves best… eventing! He has had a colic surgery and a major eye surgery. He returned to his first event after some major setbacks with a lovely double clear at Cornbury Horse Trials.
He is the greatest advertisement for the Australian thoroughbred. He is by Smart Missile and a perfect model. If he was in Australia he would be the perfect candidate for Equimillon coming up in a couple of weeks. He was trained at Rosehill by Chris Waller and earnt over $300,000 in prizemoney.
Clarke Johnstone (NZ) has done an absolutely fantastic job with producing Sparky in England. He will hopefully head to a 4**** at Strezgom in Poland in the coming weeks.

15th September 2024 - COOLEY GANGSTER RETURNS TO AUSTRALIA AND THE STABLE OF TOM MCDERMOTT
Literally 7 days out of quarantine and Monkey is in great shape and fronts at Willinga Park World Cup where he jumped exceptionally well to finish 3rd.

10th September 2024 - ‘A HORSE NAMED WINX’ PREMIERES AT CINEMAS EVERYWHERE
This is a fantastic documentary movie of everything Winx, from her birth to her giving birth and everything in between. It is great to have a small appearance in the movie and we were lucky to have her at the farm for the best part of 18 months. Not often do documentaries work on the big screen but I think this one certainly does.
This photo was taken on 14th January 2013 when the Street Cry/Vegas Showgirl filly (Winx) arrived home from the Magic Millions Yearling Sale. She had two weeks in the paddock and kicked off breaking in. Little did we know the star she was going to be...!
15th July 2024 - PATCH OF THETA HELPS FRANCIS LUI WIN THE HKJC TRAINERS PREMIERSHIP 2023/24
With four wins for the season and winning the final race of the season, Francis Lui wins his first HKJC Premiership with a horse that we produced at Limitless Lodge and was sold through the International Sale. He is by the great Zoustar who continues to produce winner after winner in Hong Kong. They are tough, sound and suited to the rigours of life in Hong Kong with universally great temperaments. Francis is best known as the trainer of Golden Sixty who has just retired as the best horse Hong Kong has ever seen.
22nd April 2024 - TOM AND COOLEY GANGSTER ARE GOING TO EUROPE
After a fantastic season with total domination of the Australian jumping scene, Tom and Monkey are off to Europe to press for a place on the Australian team for Paris 2024. Tomorrow Tom and Monkey will be on the plane to Germany with a full calendar of events competing against the best in the world. Tom is no stranger to pressure and this will be pressure from the second he takes off to Germany. Coverage will be good of all of his starts on ClipMyHorse.TV. If you are not yet registered for this, now is the time to join. This Australian show jumping team is suddenly starting to look strong with some magnificent performances all over the world. We wish Tom and Monkey all the best.

17th April 2024 - WEEKEND WINNERS
It was another good weekend for graduates of the farm winning big races all during the carnival. It was particularly exciting on Saturday at Randwick to see two of our favourite fillies winning on the big stage again. Joliestar and Zougotcha were fantastic as always and we are very proud to say that they started their competitive life at Limitless Lodge where they were broken in.
15th April 2024 - SPARKY LAD ON THE RISE
Clarke Johnstone and Sparky Lad have had a fantastic start to the eventing season in England. This follows some great performances on the Spanish Sunshine Tour where he was competitive in the 1.35m classes. Clarke dominated the 3*** short with four of the top seven ridden by Clarke. Sparky Lad is an example of all the things that are fantastic about Australian thoroughbreds. He was proudly bred by prominent breeder Greg Perry and grew up on Vinery farm in the Hunter Valley. He raced with good success and was always ear marked by us at Limitless Lodge as a potential superstar eventer. He now looks like he is a real prospect for the next championships. He has a terrific temperament, super jump and will gallop all day. Clarke has done a wonderful job with Sparky and we watch his rise to 4**** with delight.

10th April 2024 - 2024 BREAKER SEASON SO FAR
The breaker season is going well with 92 horses up until today been broken in at the farm. We have a slick team who are very proud of the job they do and we all follow the racing results carefully. We are probably about half way through the breaking season now and already the babies that return for a follow up preparation look like racehorses already. We are very fortunate to receive massive support from the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Chris Waller, Star Thoroughbreds, Gerald Ryan, Vinery Stud, B2B Thoroughbreds, Brad Widdup and BK Racing amongst others.
